New Homes – Burkedin Drive

This site is a river front site in south western Brisbane. The design is for a modern contemporary home to take advantage of the river and park views across the road frontage. Our clients wanted an elevated living area on one level.  On the ground floor a swimming pool was also requested along with a second living space and this was to flow off the pool area.

The brief was to design a contemporary, yet not over-the-top, residence for a couple who wanted to downsize as their children had moved out of home. Whilst the style of the residence was to be contemporary, the client did not want anything that could date the house. The house also had to accommodate visitors.
