New Homes – Johnstone Street

This site is located in an inner eastern Brisbane suburb. Our clients wanted a totally unique, contemporary family home suitable for resort style living.  The new home was to accommodate separate living and sleeping accommodation for two teenage girls, away from the parents quarters.

Our design centres around a north facing pool and courtyard.  Aside from the narrow 15m frontage, there were no significant site constraints so we were able to maximize north-eastern exposure. All rooms on the lower level have views to the outdoor oasis, achieved through the twisting of the floor plan at 45⁰ from the centre of the site to the rear.
