New Homes – Suvla Street

This state award winning design is for a house located on a small lot in Bulimba. The client wanted dramatic roof angles, loads of natural light, an open plan living and a unique courtyard and garden.  Our client, a single professional, wanted to create an individual home to reflect his busy lifestyle.  He required his bedroom, living and entertainment areas all on one level.   An open pavilion surrounded with lush tropical plants completes the picture and is a focal point centred off the living area.  Beyond the pavilion is a water feature where gentle water flows to add to the relaxed ambience.

“I love all the ‘nooks and crannies’ the home has, but more than anything else I love the outdoor entertaining area.  It has a very relaxed sort of atmosphere, which is perfectly suited to our climate and lifestyle.  Making the most of the sloping narrow block, the home has been cleverly designed to catch the eye at every angle and maintain a spacious, contemporary feel.  Everywhere you look there is something of interest.”
