Renovations – Mt Ommaney Dr

The existing house is located on a river front property in suburban Brisbane. The original building was a 1970s brick and tile Dutch style house.  The clients brief was to maintain as much of the existing structure as possible whilst proposing major additions and modernising the home.

The result is a contemporary, spacious and private sanctuary, which bears little resemblance to the former house and site. The new structure’s soaring skillion roof, heavily tinted glass balcony and striking colour scheme of black, white and red give the house strong street presence.
